One more comment on BIG-BABY Davis. I think he might be too big for basketball. He was really huffing and puffing out there yesterday. He may need to drop a few pounds.

Yes, I was surprised at how much he was huffing & puffing...gotta agree with you about the weight; his body looks more like a defensive lineman's body(football) I think; than a b-ball playa.

Yeah, right now the Drillah thinks Big baby looks like Fridge' Perry in the off-season...nah, he ain't that bad,but he could stand some aerobics; maybe he & Shaq could hook up.
Good morning College hoops lovers; don't we love this time of year?here's this mornings column...it's (wow!)actually pertinent...

You know, coach did want to come; especially with the final 4 here in Indianpolis. It would have been like coming full-circle with him graduating from Purdue. He's here in spirit, though; & our players are VERY AWARE of the tradition they are playing for today, I don't care how much"smack" that Noah kid wants to talk about "how tradition doesn't matter to us."
You better believe it matters to the Bruin players.I hope they kick Florida's______(well, you can guess what I mean, I just TRY to be as positive as possible).Go bruins!Maul that Gator!
Hello Drillah! I like reading your commentary. You did forget to mention ex-King Tyus Edney in your group of UCLA players..LOL!. Your right about Barry Bonds trial by fire. He will (and should be IMO) booed all season on the road. I remember going to Candlestick Park back in 1994 and watched Bonds hit 3 home runs in the game against the Reds. If Barry allegedly started using steroids in 1998, all I can say is "Why Barry? Why?!!. He had power already and was having a hall of fame career. Now it is tarnished forever.
Ok, back to basketball. The Kings should play the Clippers every game. I think they have won 12 straight against the Clippers. I like Chris Kaman of the Clips. Watch this guy!! He's gonna be a good one.
