Darn...I messed up the link, let me try that one again, sorry Admin!: http://www.recordnet.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060326/SPORTS/603260315&SearchID=7323981203121 and to think my 'Bro in Chi-town ACTUALLY works for IBM...LOL!!
Yeah, I remember OSM mentioning that in the other thread before you started posting on this site. Doesn't your niece also play b-ball?
I got another update on Chris, but I'm lazy with the link today...2 king's losses at home in a row has affected my energy, unfortunately.
Chris will be playing friday at the Final 4 tournie as a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-Star team that will play against the Harlem Globetrotters in Indianapolis.Chris has also been chosen as 1 of 62 players for the AP All-American team as a honorable mention(with J.P.Batista & UCLA'S Jordan Farmar & Aaron Affalo).
Of course, Adam Morrison & J.J. Redick made the 1st team...an honor they totally deserved.

My niece was playing basketball; but got stubborn about not wanting to play other postions than the post; coaches wanted to try her out at guard(she's 5'9') & she just didn't want to try. Not like I could motivate her from Cali."Oy vey!", like my 'bro likes to say.
Jason Anderson is running another update in tommorrow's paper on Christian; he also told me he's planning an update on our Pacific players in Europe soon.

LOL!!Good job getting that posted before today's paper was even at the press Rhondda.
Here's a little update on Chris we didn't run in the paper about the game between the College All-American team vs. the Globetrotters last Friday morning in Indianapolis.
Senior Chris Maraker helped a team of college seniors put "the joke on the Globetrotters" with a 87-83 victory. The All-Star Seniors rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit & led by one before Maraker & Marquette's Steve novak made free throws in the final seconds. The Globetrotters, who leave out their legendary antics in competitive games, fell to 3-4 in the series.
Of course, this only helps Chris more because it solidifies his "clutch" big-man status.Let's all cross our fingers for him; the Kings scouts have been talking to Coach Thomasen, it'll be interesting to see what happens for Chris.
