The new year's storms have damaged area levees to the tune of millions of dollars & the rainy season has MONTHS to go....I guess we all need to keep praying..... So now Mardi Gras is over, & Lent has started. That's good that you're building up good karma. This area of the country(San Joaquin-Sacramento Delta  here in Cali) is alot like New Orleans. What happened to us could happen to you all too. Interesting that musicians & ordinary people are the ones stepping up & helping us while the govt. has wasted billions while our people are still in tents. Having a roof over your head is not to be taken for granted. Thanx OSM for help with the construction of the Musicians village in the 9th ward; & thanx to all of you that have made contributions. We are glad our fellow Americans care about us, despite what's happened with the feds & state govt.

I'll admit that I am a Republican & that I voted for President Bush. I thought he was a good govenor for Texas & would be good for the war on terror.

I'm still a Rebublican, but I'm ashamed of how the President handled the aftermath of the Hurricane. He passed the buck onto the State gov(Loiusiana), the Mayor(Nagin) & blamed FEMA head Michael Brown, who they designated as 'the fall guy'.

Well, now it comes out that the President knew how bad it was from the start, & that he was warned ahead of time by Michael Brown. That totally sucks. Our citizens deserve better.

I'm glad that the money that was raised has been accounted for here. Maybe musicians should be running FEMA & the Red Cross. They might do a better job, actually.

Wish we could have some of that extra water down here in Texas/Oklahoma. Firefighters were hospitilized last night fighting wild-fires in O.K. with the severe drought we are having. I shudder to think about what the summer will be like.....

Got a call from Team Dime about the rain in Cali. Maybe it's time for us to start praying for our levees to hold up. Everyone stay safe, O.K.?

What is that, maybe 1 of the instruments in your friggin' 'Ode 2 the Queenie Nation? What a waste of time. they suck, period. get out while you stillcan...

A waste of time, huh??!!Than why are you here  & so interested in Rhondda's song??Why are you talkin' smack if you REALLY think 'da King's suck??!!Because you don't!!! It's so obvious!

As for the *fakers* 25,000.0, it's 'da players from 'da Hornets that actually donated time for habitat for humanity rebuilds down here in 'da 9th ward. It's fine to throw money at something, but I haven't seen anyone from 'Planet faker' donating their precious time down here. You know' all kinds of people can just throw money at things, but until i see you *fakers* doing grunt work down here ur still planet faker to me, man.No go back to fakerheathen URL ASAP.

WEll said, OSM.It is easy just to throw money around, but it was Hornet's players that stepped up, including one of our new Hornets players, Bobby Jackson, who i saw here last week(in St. Bernard's Parish). He may be a ball-player, but he's real & down-to-earth.

I was supposed to start graduate work at U.C. Davis last semester but I filed a deferment so that could volunteer down here with habitat for Humanity. The need is still so great, & being down here makes you realize how precious life & family are.it makes you respect yourself more, for what you have that others don't that you're trying to help them with. The work isn't easy, but I wouldn't trade any of what I've done here.

Not that it makes me like the fakers anymore, I dislike them more for being such superficial a$$whipes, actually.
