Should there be an "injured starter version" & a "rookie version"?as wellas a "lakershaters version"? You guys are so funny version 3 has a 1st verse with the starters & a 2nd  verse praising all the virtues of a strong bench...aka Bobby J. ......6th man...'r' fans....can u dig it.. any non-lovin'-of-the-lakers-version is of course non-nba approved. You'll all have to wait n' see.

Sounds good that there will still possibly be a 'non-lovin' of the lakers version' .Gotta have that...

Uhmmmm....I'd say from what we saw at the Palace of Auburn Hills today it's the "Fakerlakers" that are a "no-goooooo!"

let's leave "kobe" with a quote from Vincent Bonsignore from the L.A. Daily News:

"Phil Jackson desperately wanted Artest for the lakers, and conceded on Thursday the new Kings was a difference maker--'One way or another'".

Watch think kobe? Zen master actually sounds a little concerned!

If you want to donate money, log onto http://www.cnn.com  for a list of organizations seeking relief donations. Blessings and out. To OneKing'sandMonarch'sNationunderthegroove----Can U DIG IT????!!!!! Gigged with Rhondda over the weekend and she'll be donating her profit from the sales of "Gotta Love Your Sacramnento Kings"(versions 1&2) to the victims of Katrina. Log onto http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/rhondda to buy a copy----Do your part to help out!!!!!!!! Hey everyone!!! Over $2000.00 has been raised towards Katrina relief so far from the sales of versions 1&2 of the King's song.  I'm  gonna continue to donate profits of v.1&2 for relief.....it may be a drop in the bucket compared to what's needed in the gulf but it feels good to help out....Thanx to all of you that have contributedGod bless you all. Hey fellow King's fans!!! I went on some laker sites and discovered that no laker fans are raising money for hurricane relief--not that I'm surprised. I did discover a story in the L.A. times about some 'el lay persons' that ripped off a charity with Katrina funds--I'd put the link in but it just sickened me and I didn't want to pollute our thread--but RBX was right in what he said earlier. I'm soooo glad that I'm a nor-cal b-ball fan. GO KINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To admin:great picture of Bonzi! I liked the pictures of Peja and Mike, too. To OneKing's n' Monarch'sNation into the Groove n' 'da Funk--can U dig it??!!! I've just come back from my 4th 'working trip' to 'da gulf region... as some of u'all know,I've got relatives 'der--it's 1 reason I write like I do(dem, dat, der, n'dos for example).Growin' up we were 'da only latino family in the lower 9th ward till we moved 'ta Cali. I wanted ta' let U'all know 'dat 'da red cross had me supervisin' some of 'da funds raised from 'da King's cd so 'dat 'der was no funny biz' ness. 'Da money is bein' used 'ta  help rebuild a high school music room so far. More $ will help with gym floor 'dats rotted in the gym so 'da students at my old high school have somethin' to come back too.I 've donated construction work for 'da project n' if some of u'all can donate time please contact 'da redcross personally.

Thanks OSM for helping out down here with the initial building of Musician's city down here in 'da lower 9th ward.

Even if we're off the front pages in most of 'da country except for 'da mardi-gras angle, it's musicians acroos 'da country, oldtimers like you helping out, & newcomers too like Rhondda & the musicians at cdbaby.com contibuting $$$. Musicians are some of the most generous people, bless you both, & keep 'da music goin' let 'da good times roll!!!

Oh, & Basketball is fun 'ta watch:Go New Orleans!(& go Kings for you Californian musicians).

Thanx Detroit. I'm thinking of donating proceeds of version 3 (not recorded yet!)of my King's song towards local projects that help protect our levees. The new year's storms have damaged area levees to the tune of millions of dollars & the rainy season has MONTHS to go....I guess we all need to keep praying.....

So now Mardi Gras is over, & Lent has started.

That's good that you're building up good karma. This area of the country(San Joaquin-Sacramento Delta  here in Cali) is alot like New Orleans. What happened to us could happen to you all too.

Interesting that musicians & ordinary people are the ones stepping up & helping us while the govt. has wasted billions while our people are still in tents. Having a roof over your head is not to be taken for granted.

Thanx OSM for help with the construction of the Musicians village in the 9th ward; & thanx to all of you that have made contributions. We are glad our fellow Americans care about us, despite what's happened with the feds & state govt.
