TIGERS SUCKED BEFORE LELAND CAME ABOARD. Remember the 2003 team that was a
joke?The worst team in baseball?The team  that lost 130 games or
whatever?


Look, I'm sorry; but I think our bullpen is just stronger. If the Big hurt
& Swisher stay cold like that,the Tigers will sweep, that's just the way it
is.I'm not gonna crow about b/c I like you dudes, but...& you really miss
your 2nd baseman, tough break, but that's the way it goes.


Too bad about Lidle. Pretty damn sad stuff.





 


You have got to be proud of your team Pistons.com. I am an A's fan and I tell
you what, my team is  just getting outplayed by your team. Jim Leyland
is a masterful coach. The A's backs are up against the wall...BIG TIME!!!  I have to share a photo below. That is my oldest daughter when we were at an A's game sitting in the bleachers. We always have fun at A's games.

Your daughter is very cute, drillah wants to know if she got her looks from her mother?


Totally agree the A's are in trouble. leyland is a zen masterfull with his bullpen, all the change ups are outfoxing the A's big time.


Of course as many errors at 2nd as the A's have had all season in just 1 series  doesn't help.


Some of you that read the Stockton record have contacted me about the demise of the 2 minute drill. It may be gone there, because Drillah has moved on to greener pastures(no, not the SacBee, that's just a rumor).But drillah willreturn from time to time.


Some of you probably know that Cory Lidle was a Stockton Port back in 1994 before he was with the Rivercats & the A's.One of the few strike-breakers to actually get a contract; he was a cla$$ act.Articles from the record to honor him:

Whattup Drillah? Good to see you here again. YES!! Thank god my daughter got her looks from her momma..LOL. This picture was taken at an A's game back in 1996, my oldest daughter just started high school last month!!!!  Mark McGwire is that little speck in the backgraound playing first base in the photo. Hopefully, he didn't juice up on any steroids before that game. Oh, the A's were playing Cal Ripken, jr and the Baltimore Orioles that day.

I wanna know what the A's are gonna do tonight to heat up their bats. It's damn cold in D-town now; what a high of 33 yesterday?brrrrr!I wouldn't want to play in that, but then I'm a basketball playa, we are temperature-spoiled for sure.& just spoiled.

I told ya my Tigers would win it. My ears are still ringing hours later; the crowd was as loud as when the Pistons beat the fakers for the NBA championship.


Now bring on the Mets. Or the Cards.
