I have to put my two cents in here and say...IN YOUR FACE Woody Paige!! This morning on ESPN's Cold Pizza, Woody Paige said that the A's are chokers and the Twins would come back and win this series...NOT!!! Skip Bayless was pulling for the A's. I like Skip Bayless. Not only because he was going for the A's...I just think he tells it like it is. Woody is just a goofy airhead, IMO. Right on Oakland!!! Now I hope the Tigers can beat the Yanks. I hate the Yankees!!

The Tigers absolutely killed the Yankees in their series. Congratulations Pistons.com! Should be a great ALCS between the A's and Tigers beginning Tuesday! You are so right that A-ROD is the biggest choker in New York, maybe the biggest in NYC since Knicks' coach Larry Brown..LOL!! The Yankees fans have every right to be pissed off!! Now, I'm an A's fan and I am pulling for them to beat the Tigers but it won't be easy. Jim Leyland has done a masterful job for them in 2006. I just hope it now comes to an end in this upcoming 7 game series. By the way, wasn't it great to see the Dodgers get swept by the New York Mets in ther series last night? I loved seeing Tommy LaSorda pouting in the stands..LOL!  GO A'S!

& is it me, or is Pistons.com getting greedy?Your girls win the WNBA, your Pistons were in the eastern conference finals, c'mon already!


Of course your football team really s*cks(like Raiders s*cking) so maybe there's some justice in their somewhere.

Pacific, as a Met's fan I'd usually be hating with you on the Yankees, I've NEVER liked them, but it's sad what happened to Cory lidle today. He leaves behind a wife & a 6-year old son.


Watching the footage today brought back thoughts of 9-11.it's very sad; & I hope the A's really pull it out tonight in honor to Lidle since he once played in Oakland.


& I think Pistons.com is getting greedy 2; c'mon pistons.com,the A's haven't made it outta the first round in 14 years; aren't their fans just as deserving as Tigers fans?

uhmm...yeah, they are deserving(A's fans) but keep in mine HOW MUCH THE TIGERS SUCKED BEFORE LELAND CAME ABOARD. Remember the 2003 team that was a joke?The worst team in baseball?The team  that lost 130 games or whatever?


Look, I'm sorry; but I think our bullpen is just stronger. If the Big hurt & Swisher stay cold like that,the Tigers will sweep, that's just the way it is.I'm not gonna crow about b/c I like you dudes, but...& you really miss your 2nd baseman, tough break, but that's the way it goes.


Too bad about Lidle. Pretty damn sad stuff.
