Boy, what a blow out that was. I was embara$$ed for those poor Aussies, I tell you.I think Andrew Bogut was as embarra$$ed as we fans were....
The Shock are a better team than Conn was last year, they've got great defense; they spanked the Monarchs by 20 points in Detroit; & their point guard Katie Smith is terrific.Funny enough, she reminds me of Steve Nash.
But the Monarchs are a better team this year offensively. & they play great 'd' too, Katie Smith acknowledged that after they trounced Conn. & the Monarchs spanked Detroit at Arco by 30 points!& then there's the personal connection, with Kara Lawson being drafted by Detroit. It will be an interesting series, for sure. I predict a lot of physicality.
