I'm watching the Nets vs. Pacers game right now and it is competitive. In fact, EVERY OTHER game so far in these playoffs has been competitive EXCEPT the Kings-Spurs game. Artest needs to shut up with his predictions. He may have pumped the Spurs up with some locker room material.

I think RonRon's comment certainly was grist for the mill, but I also think the Spur's were fired up by how the Kings beat them the last time they met.

What I'm dissappointed with is the lack of energy & complacency the King's came out with. They should have expected the Spurs would be a better team than they were the last time the Kings played them, afterall, IT'S THE PLAYOFFS!!

If they can't win on Tuesday & get the split they'll be swept; I'd like to think that getting embarassed like that on national T.V. will be an incentive to actually show up. I wanna see my new look King's again.

I'd like to see the new look Kings too; certainly didn't see them yesterday,I'm really, REALLY pissed off!!!!!!!What made the Kings think the Spurs were just gonna roll-over?They're the world champions!!!!!& I think Ron Artest was stupid to mouth off like that.As if the Spurs needed an extra incentive to avenge their loss against the Kings 2 weeks ago.Another 1st round exit & heads are gonna roll at Arco. Not just coach Adelman, but maybe Geoff Petrie too; Though IMO, the players deserve the blame for coming out like that. That has to be the most lame-ass thing I've seen from the Kings, GOD, THAT WAS AWFULL!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least when my Pacific Tigers lost in the 1st round of the NCAA tournie they lost with honor. They made Boston College work for it taking them to 2 overtimes; & if there hadn't been that bogus call (IMO) at the end of the 1st O.T., the Tigers might have won.

Certainly didn't see that kind of heart from the Kings in game 1.Pathetic!

Hell; you all have a right to be pissed off. I'm pissed too; & more embarassed then I've been in a long time.

But to be fair to Ron, he said what he said to motivate us to think as champions. It's unfortunate that it also motivated the Spurs to really bring their "A" game. Which is what you can expect from them.

Now we need to get the split to have a chance,I don't want to go fishing yet.

Not like you're at fault Corliss if you haven't had a chance to play.That's what I don't like about 'princeton offense'

it seems unnatural to have your bigs just 'chillin' on the outside.It's not like anyone expects shacko to drain a 3 on us.So now my morning column before it's printed:
