hey. Rhondda it's your cousin Billy. I like this song o.k. but I liked that punk-rock song better you played for me when we were in cali last:"Barbie Got a mohawk". Maybe you could make it Give" LA a Mohawk"ha-ha!
You know 'cousin, I like that song too...but the music biz' is so genre driven, it's not as if I'm being encouraged to have a punk-rock band AND to do jazzy-blues/hip-hop...'Tho to be honest, i wish i could do it all...ah, to be back in the 60's when bands like the beatles or the Doors, jimi hendrix & cream could do whatever they wanted....I was born too late, I guess....insted of Woodstock, we 80's kids got Madonna( nothing against the material girl, i gotta lot of respect for her as a businesswoman)....but....*sigh*the whole genre thing is limiting....

I'm gonna send a copy of version 2 for Peja to the Pacers front office, I just haven't got around to it. Hey everyone I was jamming here last night & I came up with this intro for version 3:(of the King's song I mean): "I'm soooooo tired......all that talk on ESPN way, sayin' we have no 'D'..... just like; I'm tired,.....of all that talk down lo-cal way,.....You know what I'm talkin' about;.... (hey!) livin, livin,....a little Northern California Satisfaction..... When I get the verse I'll post it...I think if I can see a road win, I'll have the 1st two offensive sets for the 1st verse. Last night when I was jamming after the game I had: Bibbylicous, K-Mart, the Cisco kid,RonRon, 'Reef 'n' K-9 & Brad in the 1st verse. I sense a lot of energy behind your personality Rhondda & things will continue to break open for you. You have a lot of talent, & I like the jazz mixed with the hip-hop; it's a lot fresher ( & non-thuggy!) compared to the hardcore rap so prevalent with 'da young musicians today. Good job with that. Now about 'da corporate angle:in todays music buzness; producers(labels, etc.) are looking for artists that have done the self-promotion for them . Music suits are 'lazy' & they want the sure thing with a dedicated following(kind of like the sequel-happy film buzness!).It's possible the Maloofs are watching you closer than you think. If you keep up what you're doing;I think you'll get the call(& probably not just from them either!). Like the song & the voice. Keep developing your ideas & practicing: most sincerely, Harry Connick Sr., New Orleans, Lousyana, USA.
Thanx for the encouragement & tips. I'm trying to do everything I can to develop my ideas, so if the maloofs are paying attention they'll see I'm focused & hard-working.Though for the record, I don't need them to give me a job(officially)I'm able to support myself with my music at this point & I don't need them to "support me" monetarily. I didn't write the song for the $$$$ or to get famous. I wrote the song because i was tired of the chuckster sayin' my beloved team that I'd followed since the mitch redmond days was 'soft'. I'm looking forward to the day when he'll eat his words on the air, are you listening chuckster?

We like the song & your voice, but why do we get the feeling your holding back? restraining yourself a little bit/What does 'da real Rhondda sound like 'pedal to 'da medal'??When you're really jamming?/ is this song with a funky-blues backing & a jazzy hip-hop delivery typical of your sound or a departure from it? curious as to how you hear yourself & is this 'da only way you're progressing musicaly or is there another angle that need amplification & exemplification. Thanx!love the sound overall though. out you'all.
You all are right...I am holding back, & I can really rock out 2...hopefully with my new, upcoming recordings i can explore the rock/funky blues aspect a little more aggressively, while still keeping the jazzy hip-hop tip.
hey, UCLA men just won the Pac-10 championship!hopefully, my Tigers will pull out the Big west win later.
Hey admin:really like the pic of mike vs. Stephon. You can see by the look in mike's eyes that he was really into defending Stephon that night, well gotta go gig, see you all much later!

Let my P.A. post the link: http://www.recordnet.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060217/OPED0303/602170315 Like that I motivated a king'sfan to write a song to prove me wrong. She sounds real smart. Now you Kings prove me wrong by not s*cking. You ain't gonna make the playoffs unless you start now! Nice jazzy vibe here. Now live up to it, Bibby & co.I dare you. WoW, is this for real or is it memorex? If it's not the chuckster it's some damn good internet acting! I've liked this song since I first posted on the "Gotta Love" thread on page 10, I think it was.I'm a little jealous(I admit!) that you Kings fan have someone has talented as Rhondda & Pa$$ionate as a fan to write a song for her team -You go girl!!!!!!!!!
Well, I didn't post as early on the "gotta love..." thread as 'Jordan Rules 2' but I think I was in there with my phillyicous 'tude before the Detroit dudes posted; I don't remember what page it was on, it was some time last summer.
Like I said on the other thread, we played a little joke with this song in philly by taking out the Sac Kings reference & putting in a refernce to the 76'rs; the equipment managers like to play it as a joke for Chris & A.I. in the locker room they all think it's funny. we haven't played it for the philly media, though, those dudes are uptight & wouldn't get the joke I don't think.

When I played this song for Charles barkley's personal a$$istant I had no idea he'd post on the board.Or....as is more likely....talk at his p.a. who is probably posting the Chuckster's (ahem!!)"thought processes".LOL!! Take this as a compliment, Admin(Kingsfan) & Rhondda. Obviously, you're on the right track if others in the NBA are interested, even if the Maloofs are a little slow & behind the curve in picking up what's going on. Like your song Rhondda, looking for what you got next, & I like the cla$$y way you handled the fakerfan response. You go girl!!! Wow, i feel like iv'e stepped into an internet world i didn't even know existed...their are the bloggers, the fan sites, ....but this one is different somehow. About J.Lo..yeah, she is HELLA HOT to look at...but that song is REALLY starting to annoy me. Funny thing...this song is the opposite..it keeps growing on me somehow. A sleeper hit. Like a Sleeper team. go kings & prove the chuckster wrong. dammit, with his golf game he has it coming anyway.
I used to like that j.Lo song but now I find it annoying. Kenny is right, this one grows on you; makes you want to hear what else she's(Rhondda) got.
my boyfriend likes this song, he likes to play it after the Knicks lose, because it reminds him of the team he roots for in Cali that wins...the KINGS!!!!!!!
