I sense a lot of energy behind your personality Rhondda & things will continue to break open for you. You have a lot of talent, & I like the jazz mixed with the hip-hop; it's a lot fresher ( & non-thuggy!) compared to the hardcore rap so prevalent with 'da young musicians today. Good job with that. Now about 'da corporate angle:in todays music buzness; producers(labels, etc.) are looking for artists that have done the self-promotion for them . Music suits are 'lazy' & they want the sure thing with a dedicated following(kind of like the sequel-happy film buzness!).It's possible the Maloofs are watching you closer than you think. If you keep up what you're doing;I think you'll get the call(& probably not just from them either!). Like the song & the voice. Thanx for the encouragement & tips. I'm trying to do everything I can to develop my ideas, so if the maloofs are paying attention they'll see I'm focused & hard-working.Though for the record, I don't need them to give me a job(officially)I'm able to support myself with my music at this point & I don't need them to "support me" monetarily. I didn't write the song for the $$$$ or to get famous. I wrote the song because i was tired of the chuckster sayin' my beloved team that I'd followed since the mitch redmond days was 'soft'. I'm looking forward to the day when he'll eat his words on the air, are you listening chuckster?

We like the song & your voice, but why do we get the feeling your holding back? restraining yourself a little bit/What does 'da real Rhondda sound like 'pedal to 'da medal'??When you're really jamming?/ is this song with a funky-blues backing & a jazzy hip-hop delivery typical of your sound or a departure from it? curious as to how you hear yourself & is this 'da only way you're progressing musicaly or is there another angle that need amplification & exemplification. You all are right...I am holding back, & I can really rock out 2...hopefully with my new, upcoming recordings i can explore the rock/funky blues aspect a little more aggressively, while still keeping the jazzy hip-hop tip.

Well, I didn't post as early on the "gotta love..." thread as 'Jordan Rules 2' but I think I was in there with my phillyicous 'tude before the Detroit dudes posted; I don't remember what page it was on, it was some time last summer.

Like I said on the other thread, we played a little joke with this song in philly by taking out the Sac Kings reference & putting in a refernce to the 76'rs; the equipment managers like to play it as a joke for Chris & A.I. in the locker room they all think it's funny. we haven't played it for the philly media, though, those dudes are uptight & wouldn't get the joke I don't think.

I used to like that j.Lo song but now I find it annoying. Kenny is right, this one grows on you; makes you want to hear what else she's(Rhondda) got.

my boyfriend likes this song, he likes to play it after the Knicks lose, because it reminds him of the team he roots for in Cali that wins...the KINGS!!!!!!!
