To Mambo:I'm sorry (not really!); but there's no amount of charm that will sway me to the 'lakernation'; youbest give up on that.

& my understanding is that Ronnie meza rented equipment out to the lakers but that he never attended any games despite being offered free tickets. Doesn't sound like 'lakerlove' to me. he's quite talented, here's his website:

& about the song lyrics for a Monarch's song...I've decided to post all upcoming lyrics on the new blogspot website that I wanna develop with admin. We're gonna link 'em all up with this board & with his SacKings blog & with the blogosphere &  it will be hella cool.Look for all of that in the future.

My gig this friday did make SacTicket.Calendar, here's the link:

I wanna thank all of you that showed up; I counted about 100 people; nice size-crowd for our little Bar-B-Que place; Royce farms. In fact, people wanted us to play past 9:00:it was almost too successfull...(nothing the musician fears more than the crashing of the party by Johnny Blue...no wait....SOME musicians dig that; but it brings on anxiety in me, rather pa$$, thanx).

I've read all of your recent posts, & I'll post on the weekend about sports; but this is the only thread where we're really talking about art & life as well as sports. No, let me correct myself slightly; we're talking about sports & life everywhere & about our shared humanity on the Katrina thread, but when you loose a family member it really comes into relief. Life & Sport. Love & art.

A man that was like a grandfather to me pa$$ed away today. He was my Brother's grandfather-in-law: a gracious, pipe-smoking man that lived in Gr**** valley; was a retired engineer that had worked on The Golden gate bridge & was very happily married...with a wife that lived her art as I hope I'll always be able to hear the music in my life:

My Brother knew him better, 'tho' & wrote a touching tribute I thought:

Peace You all. Talk to you later.

Glad to hear that your gig went well (i knew it would). Wish I could have been there!! Sorry to hear about your loss Rhondda. My grandmother is living with us and she is 85 years old and I would hate to lose her. She had to sell her house in Stockton and move with us up here in Northern Idaho. She had a nice house that she lived in behind the old Christian Life Center on West lane. Off Tamo'Shanter.

OK, people die. it s*cks I know, but little puppies & starving orphans in Africa die too.

Yeah, I know I'm a d*ckhead, but you all knew that right?

While your'e tribute, Rhondda, is ok if I'm feeling sentimental, your brother's was sentimental tripe. Unless of course he writes screen plays for jane Austen movies or thinks he's the re-incarnation of Charles ****ens; the 1830 version. Who wants to hear about butterflys & flowers, for christsakes.

As for your grannie King's fan, at least she's still kicking & made it to 85; WTF.
