Rhondda Nunes(the real deal). wrote: Point taken! Actually, I want to add the rock element; not subtract the jazzy-bluesy element. I don't think I could even if I wanted to; it's too much a part of my sound; BUT it's not all of my sound & I want my online fans to get the same experience that fans see when they hear me "live". To RBX & OSM: Again, you guys are too funny!I thought the music was kinda lame with no energy at that game. A shame for the warrior fans; they deserve better than mediocrity. LIVE MUSIC UPDATE:THE FIRST PLAYING OF THE 2005-06 PLAYING OF "GOTTA LOVE YOUR SACRAMENTO KINGS" WILL BE AT THE VALLEY BREW IN STOCKTON, CA; APRIL 24th, 7:00-10:00 p.m. Of course, I'll do other songs than that....I just haven't decided on the set list yet.LOL!! Rhondda, still not seeing that hook shot from Brad. I think that line fits Shareef better, actually. Maybe we can give you more suggestions genre-wise since alot of us aren't musicians if you tell us songs you do with your 'cover bands" that aren't jazzy/ bluesy that go over well. Just a suggestion.
I was at Rhondda's cover band gig this last weekend at "la Spranza" & the only person that does a better cover of "Mustang Sally" would have to be Wilson Pickett himself. Which would be impossible to hear now that Wilson is in heaven & only gives concerts for God.
Everyone in the bar gave her a standing ovation. I ask you all, how often do most people gave a musician a bar a standing ovation when they mostly just care about who they're trying to hit on?
& this is off-topic, but Rhondda you have the most beautifull eyes...are they dark violet?your pics don't do you justice at all.
Thanx for the compliment; I actually prefer the pics to be a little 'frumpy", that way I know people are digging the music for it's own right not because of how I look. That's a problem with pop-music & pop-tarts today is that it IS just about the looks, honestly; & then we wonder why a lot of it sounds...instantly forgettable.
One reason I allways practiced really hard on my axe is I never wanted anybody say"Oh, she sucks...but what do you expect, she's a girl..."I love to prove people wrong & give 'em the unexpected.
Now on a sad note, my gig has been cancelled at the Valley because my guitarist is sick.I'll let you all know when the song debut will be rescheduled.

You can see it by clicking the link below. Look for it a little under Ronny Artest's picture. http://www.freewebs.com/ron_artest Starting to like this little Kingsfan board, you all are real funny. Let my P.A. post the link: http://www.recordnet.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060217/OPED0303/602170315 Like that I motivated a king'sfan to write a song to prove me wrong. She sounds real smart. Now you Kings prove me wrong by not s*cking. You ain't gonna make the playoffs unless you start now! Nice jazzy vibe here. Now live up to it, Bibby & co.I dare you.
I like the jazzy vibe too. Real classy, & I'm proud that a King's fan would come up with something classy. We have the best fans in the NBA.
But honestly, I'd like it even better if we could live up to the song. You couldn't use this song right now the way we lost the other night; it's just too embarrassing & ludicrous.

Where the f*ck do I start with this?
Assisine what you're saying about how you're marketing yourself. Let me get this straight:
"it's cool if the pics on the internet are shitty than I don't have to worry about people not digging my music for how I look and not my talent."
I'm sorry; but that's just stupid. especially if your eyes are violet and you're hot but hiding under 25 extra pounds because you have a secret fear of success. I hear that does afflict talented people, but I think that's a copout!
