But, I am happy for Jerome Bettis that he finally got a super bowl championship in his last game. Bettis said tonight that he is done and is retiring. Where does the time go? Seems like yesterday that he was a rookie running back playing for the then Los Angeles Rams. He will soon be in the football hall of fame.
Speaking of L.A. football, What do you all think of the Raiders bringing in Art Shell to coach?(the former L.A. Raiders coach).
any change the raiders make at this point can't hurt them anymore than what the owner has allready put the raiders franchise thru davis is an idiot, this is his mea culpa 'cuz he shouldn't have let shell go to start with.
as a charger fan, i thought all the calls were bogus myself & brought on by the fact the nfl felt guilt over the calls against the steelers in the previous play-off game call it pity factor, pity calls, as in the poor steelers...

I agree, as long as Al Davis is the owner of the Raiders, they will stink because he never gives a coach any time to build a solid football team. He just fires them and starts the process all over again. I wonder if Randy Moss wishes he was still in Minnesota?!

LOL!!!I would for sure!!Al Davis is just the stinkiest in terms of loyalty to coaches: or to anything; the bastard!
Aaahh...Sure,.. MAYBE it's sunk thru into his thick skull he shoulda never let Shell go,....but damn!!Can you trust him???You would almost need a death wish to go into that situation.
As a player or as a coach. kind of like good luck & sayonara.
