One could hope so, huh?That took alot of sacrifice on Tina's part, she had to take her baby on the road & her mon helped out too, going on the road with her. That has to be pretty tough. But De Mya certainly is that isn't she? she was the heart of defensive encouragement in the huddle of that final possession in the last game for the Championship. I still remember her voice to her teammates:defend the 3! That's true, things that male atheletes don't have to worry about. I'm worried about the possibility of John Whisenant being the King's coach as well as the monarch's coach. Not that he couldn't coach the Boys, who cares that they(the girls) wear sports bras instead of jockstraps; but it doesn't seem right to take the coach of the championship team and have him coach the less successful team; I think it takes away from the monarchs, and i would like the boys to have a different coach. Rhondda; do you have the words to your monarch's song yet? I worry about Whiz doing both too, but not because what some of the Dudes that say "the players aren't gonna listen to the girl's coach 'cuz' he doesn't have NBA player experience". Bill Lameer has NBA player experience & a ring as a player, but his Detroit Shock didn't win the championship last year; Whiz's Monarchs did, so there! Thought it interesting to hear kara lawson say last night that "it's the players responsibility to listen to the coach if they know what's good for them"... Indeed. & i do have some monarch song lyrics, but I'm sooooo tired from the 5 gigs I had this weekend i can't think straight right now, I'll post some more tommorrow.
Well, I think you're late!It's O.K., though, musicians work hard in the summer(the good ones, I don't care abpout the ones that suck!)
I think it's good that Whiz will stay with the Monarchs. Why change something if it works?I think him being interviewed has been a distraction for the team, hopefully, they can get focused now and start really defending their championship.
Yep, I agree! did you guys see today's game against Seattle?Hopefully that will give us momentum tommorrow against the Farts(uhm...so sorry, I meant the Sparx!)
Did you guys see D Mya on the sidelines? & Rhondda can you [post what you have for words about your song?(the monarch's song?)
Sorry to be a nag, Rhondda, but what do you have with your Monarch's song?
Speaking of Rhondda's song(s), it would have been cool to hear "No Cows in Sight" to fire up the crowd tonight at Arco against the farts,,,er....Sparx. The girls had a really sad second quarter.

It was great to see the girls rebound against the Indiana fever wasn't it!& now DeMya coming back off the bench is great, just great;so I was able to finish the 1st verse of the Monarch's song(yaY!!!):
verse 1:(spoken, dolce):Yo, Yo, gotta have her in the post workin' it,
like she's 7'5" & 25,
I love the weave of our girls, a little white-line 'D';
Maiga with the trap, DeMya 'defend the 3!!'
You ain't gettin' by, no matter who hard you try,
'Cuz our Monarchs will trap you like a butterfly!!
Chorus:(sung)Watch them fly!!So High....Watch them Fly...So high,
Fly!!Fly!....
you know I dig my Monarchs.We dig our Monarchs...
c. 2006, Rhondda Nunes
Now maybe I can watch a little more game-winning action & write the 2nd verse. It's certainly easier to write the songs when the team is winning.
