TO HELP OUR FELLOW CITIZENS WE MUST HELP TOO!!!! Say a prayer for the gulf coastStart praying now!!!!!!!!!!!
They're saying today on CNN that this latest hurricane....HURRICANE RITA, has now been downgraded to a category 3. So, hopefully it won't hit the coast of Texas and Loiusiana as hard as HURRICANE KATRINA did in New Orleans and Biloxi. I will definately still be saying a prayer for the people down there. It's kind of ironic and sad that alot of the survivors from hurricane katrina that lived in New Orleans were evacuated to Houston, Texas. Now Houston is going to get hit.
The levee in new Orleans that flooded- and had just been repaired- breached early in jefferson parish---so not just Orleans and Miss. but Texas in the mix---& some people evacuated stranded in their cars on the highways? We can't just tell people to get out--- and then offer no shelter other than their cars stranded-- with no gas!-- on the highways. I just don't FEEL we should have to do that in the U.S.A.
But I can pray
and make donations to the sites listed on this thread.
and THANX! to our local national guard, service men & woman in the various branches,

I'm making donations 'cuz it coulda been us....if we had an earthquake followed by a tsunami this whole sac-san-joaquin valley would flood--hella...Stockton's 14 feet below sea level, and I don't see levee improvement here.
