She's from Stockton. Interesting. I lived in Stockton for awhile. right off Hammer on El Dorado St. Heard gunshots every night.

TDK: I have friends in Stockton; that north-east part of town is an armpit....the only thing

worse--the south-east part of town where rhondda went to Franklin High...I hear you need

"backup" to go to the bathroom.

Growin'up in a bad'hood makes you strong,dudes--My sources tell me rhondda lives in the central west-end by the University of the Pacific where Chris Isaak grew up. She's really bad on the 'boards...seen her smoke out dudes playin' lead on their axes, n' cutt them off. This song is tame compared with what energy you see in her live performance.
