I'm sorry to hear about your back, that sounds terrible!I hope it gets better for you; would glucasamine or msm/chondroitin supplements help?I have a friend that has arthrits in her back & she swears by that stuff.

That game with the Spurs was great!Of course, the Spurs were tired on a back-to-back. But it was great to see the Kings play good defense in the 4th quarter; & a confidence-booster for the new pickup from San Antonio, Beno Udrih. he was scouted from Serbia by Vlade, I believe. popovich was grooming him to be a backup for Tony Parker & he does penetrate & kick-out like Tony. he was very motivated against his old team.
unfortunately. the game against the Warriors went back a few steps:When the dubs tightened up the 'd' in the 4th, the Kings started jacking up bricks from the outside like last year. The Houston game was different tho'; Theus called a timeout & got the guys to re-focus & go to the hole, & they won it. Rick Adelman got a standing ovation from the Arco crowd, I saw the clip on YouTube; cla$$y for the fans to do that. I felt a little sorry for the Rockets, 'cuz' i'd like to see R.A. & his a$$istants do well, but oh well.Artest has been playing like a madman, too...going back-&-forth to Indiana, his daughter Diamond has a cancer on her kidney. terrible stuff for a 4-year-old to have to go thru chemo. I hope she recovers.
Hope the Sonics don't move to O.K.C. O.K.C, isn't a bad city, but it's nothing like Seattle. Can you watch Portland play where you are Kingsfan?

Thanks for the advice Rhondda! I might have to try the supplements you mentioned.

That is terrible news about Ron Artest's daughter cry.gif I did not know that! I hope she will be ok.

That's great that Adelmann got a standing O at Arco. He did alot for the Kings and help get them on the NBA map.

As far as watching the Blazers. I can't watch them where I am. But, my two daughters live in Portland so I may have them watch the games for me and relay it to me..LOL!! My youngest daughter is 12 and she looooves the Oregon Ducks. They weredoing great until Dixon got injured.

Anyways, I'm glad you are doing well!! My cousin just moved back to Sacramento from Seattle. He is trying to get me to move back down there. It may happen. Talk to you later!!

So Kingsfan, I wish i was wrong about how talented Rajon Rondo was gonna be in the Adam Morrisson thread...The green tide came into sactown last night, & it was a 'smackdown in sactown', & Rondo was his sneaky thief best & bringing on the tude' as well....There was ALOT of smacktalk going on last night, I could even hear it on ComCast...After the game,. K.G. wouldn't shake Francisco's hand, I guess he took some of it personally....The Kings tried to fight back in the 3rd, but the defence of the Celtics(they are soooo long-limbed in the paint, if you miss your outside jumpers & try to penetrate into the paint, they hammer the hell-outta-you!)combined with all their outside shooting(the Celts, I mean, damn that Eddie House!shoulda known he'd kill us on another team!) was too much. The game got a little testy, too....it'll be interesting to see how the Sonics do tonight against the Celts. I'm pretty sure they'll lose, but maybe they can keep it close enough to keep the crowd in it...Maybe the game last night may have tired the Celts out, but I doubt it. (A Sonic fans can hope, anyway).

So your bro' has moved to Sactown?Maybe some day you'll be back too. As for the Ducks, you know they have my 'root'...especially if they're playing USC.As a UCLA grad, I have to root against USC just because.Wasn't it strange when the UCLA football team beat the Ducks this last season? I was surprised by that, becuse UCLA football was pretty sucky this last year. I bet you were surprised too!

So this is Ray Allen's first trip back...I didn't see the intros, how did the seattle fans react to him?I hope there weren't any boos...& I hope the game isn't a complete blow-out, I'm gonna go & watch it now...talk to you later, Rhonddasmile.gif

Gotta Love Your Sacramento Kings!!!!!!headbang.gifI love to say that!
So how 'bout our Kings last night bringing it against the Mavs?& how 'bout K-Mart's hot hand on his 2nd night back?I know from the record, the Kings do not look like a great team on paper....but they are playin' hard & bringing the effort & energy to the hard wood.I'm digging the youth, the energy, the pa$$ion, & I have new lyrics for my song. More on that later.....

Since this thread is getting sooooo long & unwieldy, I'm gonna be starting an index for it...long overdue. & with me(Rhondda!!) doing it; I can ensure some 'privacy' as to what to leave in(or out!)as the case may be...look for it coming up after I research the front part of the thread. Maybe by the weekend, we'll see!Later Kingsfans!biggrin.gif

WOW! The Kings are looking a little better on the road, Rhondda!! I noticed on SportsCenter last night that they won in Detroit and tonight they won in Indianapolis against the Pacers. It sure is nice having Kevin Martin and Mike Bibby back. I see alot of Sonics games...and .....WEEEEELLLLL....they STINK!! But, they are young and it is fun watching Kevin Durant. When he bulks up he is going to be a monster. He's still a baby right now!!

Yeah....he's a babe now, but he will be quite the player after he bulks up some. What do you think of how P.J.'s doing with the coaching? Are the Sonics playing better 'd' than last year do you think?

It's kinda deja vu (when Peja was traded) with the Kings right now; Ron Artest has said in the Bee that he wants to opt out at the end of this contract year & all the talk at Sactown Royalty is about trading him first Because:1)He stalls the offense2)Kevin doesn't get as many touches when he's in, & 3)Theus & Ron have had some disagreements.4)Ron says he wants a ring. 5)& then he says hewants to play with the Knicks.

Huh???!!!As if he'd win a ring with Isiah coaching that team; but if we could get David Lee, I'd take it. Salmons & Garcia have been playing well at the 3 spot; & the offense does flow better with them on the floor. I think Ron could do better offensively if he did less, pa$$ed more, & stop those ISO plays that have Martin & the other players just standing around.

Maybe we should trade him to club faker. You got admit it could be funny to watch him & Kobe try to share the ball. I wouldn't that to put the lakers over the hump, soooo......'maybe ....on the other hand, i think I'd rather see him as a knickerbocker.wink.gif
